Heritage Rooftop Ambience
Dine under the open sky with panoramic city views, surrounded by Mewari décor, jharokha arches and warm lantern light.
A heritage rooftop restaurant & bar on Lake Palace Road — where Mewari recipes, world cuisines and the Udaipur skyline share one table.

A jaajam is the hand-block-printed cotton spread that Rajasthan lays out whenever people gather — for feasts, festivals and village panchayats. Sitting on it meant sharing food and stories as equals.
We built a rooftop around that idea. Perched opposite Rangnivas Palace on Lake Palace Road, Jaajam serves the true taste of Udaipur: regal, warm, unhurried. From slow-cooked Laal Maas and ghee-soaked baatis to sizzling tandoori platters, continental plates and cocktails at the bar — every dish arrives with the hospitality Mewar is known for.
Dine under the open sky with panoramic city views, surrounded by Mewari décor, jharokha arches and warm lantern light.
Laal Maas, Gatte ki Sabzi, Ker Sangri, Dal Baati Churma — recipes rooted in the royal kitchens of Mewar.
Indian, Chinese, Continental, tandoor, soups, sandwiches and salads — a full multi-cuisine menu for every craving.
Signature cocktails, mocktails, premium spirits, wines and chilled beers — made for long Udaipur evenings.
A private dining room, rooftop group seating and all-you-can-eat packages for families, couples and celebrations.
Soulful live sessions as the sun drops behind the Aravallis — minutes from Lake Pichola and the City Palace.
Our kitchen doesn’t serve tourist versions of Rajasthani food. The Laal Maas is properly fiery, the baatis are properly soaked, and the churma is made the way grandmothers make it.

The soul of Rajasthan — ghee-soaked baatis, panchmel dal and hand-crushed churma.

Smoky kebabs and tikkas straight from the clay oven, veg or non-veg.

A royal Mewari spread — a dozen little bowls, one very big memory.

Fiery Rajasthani mutton, slow-cooked with Mathania red chillies and ghee.

The lights of the old city begin to shimmer, the live music starts, and the rooftop turns into one of Udaipur’s most quietly magical rooms. A first date, a family celebration, or a slow drink with friends — open-air seating, heritage design and honest food make the evening stay with you.
Real evenings, real plates, real people — a few words from the guests who found us on Lake Palace Road.
Great experience at Jaajam. I arranged a surprise birthday dinner for my mom here and Rajat ji was so helpful — he made sure everything was perfect.
The views, ambience, live music, pricing and service were brilliant. You get a view of the City Palace while you relax.
Food is really good. We tried Kabuli Tiki and Malai Kofta — both amazing. View from the rooftop is perfect, with City Palace right in front of your eyes.
Food was delicious and the staff was well behaved. Rakesh ji looked after us throughout the evening.
